An internship drive was conducted for the students of 3rd Semester of Masters of Rural Studies, Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu by LJK Economic Growth and Development Dialogue (LEAD) today.

The objective of the drive was to give firsthand experience to the students with hands on work experience in a professional setting.

The drive was conducted by the Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu. Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Director, DLL introduced the guests and shared with them the course structure of MRS, need and importance of field work/internship for value addition of the students and preparing them for their future courses in life and enhancing employability.

Mr. Tanul Dogra and Mr. Alankrit Mahajan coordinator LEAD shared with the participants working of LEAD and range of activities being undertaken by them and possibility of engaging MRS students in meaningful ventures.

Others present on the occasion included Prof. Kavita Suri, Dr. Vivek Sharma and Dr. Pallavi Sachdeva. The organization offered to engage students for internship for 2024-25.
