Introduction

Overview:
Aiming to provide a platform to cultivate and exhibit talent, The photography Club shall be the fraternity of all the photography enthusiast in University of Jammu. It will allow the various stakeholders to follow the passion of photography. The photography club is to provide a platform for the interested students to share and exhibit their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography. The club conducts regular exhibitions, workshops and guest lectures to enhance aesthetic and critical skills in photography. The club will conduct various activities throughout the year and shall have an existence in all the major events taking place in the University. It is going to be one of the most prestigious and reputable cultural clubs of the University and it will be the abode of all students and employees who are willing to learn, perform and grow.

Objectives:
1. To provide a supportive environment for students interested in photography to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography.
2. To train the students to have an artist’s taste for beauty and a poet’s expression for emotions which would thereby emulate technical concepts and ideas into reality.
3. To encourage students to express their thoughts and emotions through art or photography.
4. To make students to learn the transformation of technical facts into real-time applications.
5. To inculcate the habit of imagination of beauty and art by empowering them to become young photographers.
6. To develop vocational skills among the students and employees for in the field of Music with the motive of “Passion to Profession”
7. To offer photography Courses as optional choice-based courses to the students.
