INTRODUCTION

The Central Library of the University is the hub of academic activities with a large collection of learning resources on Arts, Humanities, Science, Social Sciences and many more. It is a four-storey building and has spacious reading halls and compact stacking areas. Library collection includes rare and new books.

Central Library The University Library is located in the heart of the campus and was constructed according to

a modular design. It has centrally air- conditioned reading space for about 850 users including scholar, students and private members of the university. Moreover, reading space for newspapers and magazines is in the browsing section of the Dhanvantri Library. The library provides a lift facility and ramps for specially-abled persons. In order to facilitate routine operations, the Central Library of the University is equipped with an Integrated Library Management System. Central Library serves as the foundation for academic activities at the University, and the University Council has assigned it one of its primary responsibilities to check plagiarism in University research output.

In addition to providing access to e-resources from INFLIBNET, the library also provides access to open access resources. As part of the library's digital services, the library also provides access to its digital repository. It also offers a wide range of services such as reference services, information literacy skills, and current awareness services. In addition, the library actively participates in strengthening the digital repository of theses to the Shodganga Portal.
