HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE STUDENTS/BOARDERS
The hostel rooms are subject to inspection by the University / Hostel authorities to make sure that they are kept neat and tidy.
When leaving the room for attending classes or for vacation, etc., fans, lights etc., should be switched off. Glass windows are to be closed securely.
Perfect silence is to be maintained in the hostel premises including rooms, bathrooms, dining hall, corridors, common areas etc., every boarder of the hostel should have the civic responsibility that she should not be a cause inconvenience, annoyance or disturbance to others.
Strict silence shall be observed in hostel from 12.00 midnight to 6.00 am. Care shall be taken at all times to ensure that music/loud talking is NOT audible outside the room. Any manner of festivities and noise making/celebrations, which may cause disturbance to other inmates in the hostel premises, will not be allowed.
Any unauthorized guest in the room shall not be entertained. If any unauthorized guest is found in the room, the host will have to pay Rs.40/- per day and a fine of Rs. 300/-
Cooking is not permitted in the room.
Boarders shall not interchange their room with another boarder or shift into vacant room/ bed without prior written permission from the Warden/Resident Warden.
In case of any problem boarders are required to approach the Wing Representatives or the respective Committee formed for the purpose.
Guest night stay for any shall not exceed in beyond seven days in a month.
One boarder can entertain only one guest at a time.
In case the boarder is on leave the guest against her name shall not be entertained.
